Actor, Singer, Dancer, Musician, Writer

ABOUT

Isabella is a multidisciplinary performer, writer and movement director who is drawn to art that is absurd, radically honest, and fiercely original. She is currently an associate artist of the award-winning Mango Ensemble who amplify underrepresented political voices and a member of the National Youth Theatre.

Her approach is influenced by and grounded in her extensive and varied ventures into Meisner, Shakespeare, physical theatre, clowning, musical theatre, singing, dance and screen-work. After graduating from Durham University, she trained for a year at ArtsEd in Musical Theatre. She has been represented and mentored by the industry legend, Esta Charkham (Esta Charkham Associates) for over a decade and has obtained a number of Film, TV and theatre credits. As a writer, she finds that the interplay between cynicism and wit provides the most compelling and truthful lens through which to tell stories, and her work gravitates toward the eccentric—whether in structure, form, or dialogue—yet remains deeply rooted in authenticity.

She edit scripts for fellow playwrights and am a sought-after reviewer at the Edinburgh Fringe, writing for The Skinny and Broadway Baby for the month in addition to Operation Live Theatre in London for the rest of the year.
